About TimeAbi

What you can do

The home page gives you your local time, a quick timer, and a stopwatch.

The World Clock lets you check the current time in countries and cities, understand time-zone abbreviations such as IST or EST, and see where those abbreviations are currently in use.

The Tools section includes utilities for:

• converting times between time zones;
• finding suitable meeting times across locations;
• counting down to a date;
• calculating date differences and week numbers;
• converting Unix timestamps; and
• checking sunrise times.

No account required

There is no account, sign-in, or setup. Open a page and start using it.

How TimeAbi calculates time

TimeAbi uses your device clock for the current time. Time-zone offsets and daylight-saving adjustments are calculated in your browser using the time-zone information available on your device.

Because governments occasionally change time-zone or daylight-saving rules, a browser or operating system with outdated time-zone data may occasionally show an incorrect offset.

TimeAbi is designed as a practical time utility and does not claim atomic-clock precision.

Your local view

The city shown with your local clock is inferred from your device’s time zone. TimeAbi does not request your precise or GPS location.

When a matching city or landmark is available, TimeAbi uses it for your local view. Otherwise, a default view is shown.

Privacy

Information you enter into TimeAbi tools, such as timer durations, countdown dates, selected cities, and time-zone comparisons, is processed in your browser rather than stored on TimeAbi servers.
